Apply now Back to searchAs a Structural Analysis Engineer, you will perform structural assessments to support new design concepts, evaluate production variance, and maintain support to in-service operations.
You will also bring forward innovative analytical solutions for customer issues.
Experience with Low Cycle Fatigue, Crack Growth, High Cycle Fatigue, and Creep requirements with the primary focus on Safety Critical components.
• Perform structural assessments to support new design concepts, evaluate production variance, and maintain support to in-service operations.
• Develop innovative analytical solutions for customer issues on new/fielded products to meet Low Cycle Fatigue, Crack Growth, High Cycle Fatigue, and Creep requirements with the primary focus on Safety Critical components.
• Generation and maintenance of Engineering Critical Parts Plans and Life Management Plans.
• Perform numerical risk assessments in support of field operations.
• Specimen, Component and Assembly test planning and analysis to support life declaration of safety critical components.
• Experience with variety of FEA codes including ANSYS and SC03
• Programming skills such as Visual Basic, Matlab, Python, PERL, C++
• Analytical ability to deal with challenging engineering problems and to determine root case and corrective action
• Interpersonal skills to work effectively in a team environment; willingness to accept responsibility and take initiative
• Ability to plan and coordinate assigned work with other groups and drive to finish assigned tasks on schedule
A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 2+ years of related experience
